Welcome to the sounds of Sweet Nothin’s, where harmony meets heart in every note. Comprised of Lisa and Teresa McCarter, affectionately known as The McCarter Twins, alongside Lisa’s husband Chip Winter, our journey begins with a legacy rooted in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.
Formerly a sister trio on Warner Bros records in the late 80s and early 90s, The McCarters charted multiple Billboard country singles before taking a two-decade hiatus from music. But the call of harmony was too strong to resist, prompting their return to the studio, now joined by Chip.
With a shared passion for song and a newfound dynamic of three-part harmonies, Sweet Nothin’s embarks on a musical folk tale, rediscovering childhood memories and timeless classics. What started as a casual suggestion to record a CD for themselves blossomed into a full-fledged project, fueled by laughter, shared memories, and a touch of serendipity.
